DR. YOGESH SHAH
Dr. Shah is the Associate Dean of Global Health at Des Moines University. Dr. Shah’s primary responsibility is development of Des Moines University’s global health program. In that capacity, Dr. Shah has been involved in the development of numerous programs in fourteen countries around the world through partnerships with the World Health Organization and the White Ribbon Alliance. As a physician, Dr. Shah is triple board certified in Family Medicine, Geriatrics, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. As a professor, Dr. Shah has presented and published research on Alzheimer’s at the local, national and international level in such places as Japan, Australia and China.
DR. DEBRA STONER, MD, FACEP, FAWM
Dr. Stoner is an Associate in Emergency Medicine for the Geisinger Health System in central Pennsylvania. She is the Medical Advisor for Himanchal Educational Foundation’s clinics in western Nepal where she teaches rural health care workers emergency and wilderness medicine. As a Fellow in Wilderness Medicine she is a twenty year member and Associate Editor for the Wilderness Medical Society. She lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, Dr. Gary Stoner. They have three daughters.
