Topics Education is a strategic communications firm specializing in the development of educational programs found at the center of consumer education, workforce development, and philanthropic initiatives. Since 1995 they have helped their corporate, nonprofit, and government clients create programs that engage and educate their various stakeholders in schools, homes, workplaces, and communities.
When Participant Productions needed to implement an educational outreach program to accompany Al Gore’s film, An Inconvenient Truth, the company turned to Topics Education. Topics developed a turnkey educational outreach campaign for the film, and designed, marketed, promoted and measured the success of a flexible curriculum for middle school and high school classrooms. Today, more than 100,000 educators have downloaded the program and millions of students have learned from it.
More than a decade ago, The Weather Channel retained Topics Education to provide a variety of interactive educational content for its growing website. Today, Topics is the primary provider of K12-focused educational content for The Weather Channel’s education department, reaching more than one million teachers and students each year.
